Rapha

Our opinion
Rapha clothing is really well designed for cycling, even the most technical of them. Whether it's very comfortable shorts, or socks and boxers in extra-fine merino wool, the brand fulfills its promises of comfort, durability, and ease of maintenance (important when you're trekking by bike). Special mention for the Explore Shoes, excellent shoes for SPD automatic pedals, which are very comfortable and solid, but also have the advantage of drying quickly and adapting to different arches of the foot. It's also a real plus to walk without looking like a medieval knight on the metal blocks, thanks to the rubber crampons at the right height. Another strong point: they dry quickly. We also recommend their 3-layer jackets which are light, compact, wrinkle-free, and full of clever details: double-slider zips, throat flaps, throat scalloped fasteners, waterproof pockets, hood and hip drawstrings, cuffs reversed to reveal high-visibility bands. The material choices, although unfortunately not detailed enough on the brand's website, are excellent since the jackets are very breathable, while retaining their waterproof and windproof properties. Finally, the excellent styling and brand universe, with quotes from legendary cyclists on the labels, create a real brand experience. These are just small details, but it's really nice to read them during a long day of cycling in bad weather. We feel protected, and even supported by Rapha. An excellent brand.
