Our favorite pieces at Marchand Drapier are the pants , cut wider at the hips than at the legs, which gives a look that is both elegant and relaxed, and always in very particular materials.
We also find edging all along the leg, which lengthens the silhouette and gives the Marchand Drapier collections a military touch, whether on summer or winter pants.
The brand also releases very original prints each season, available on shirts and t-shirts.
Marchand Drapier ceased its activity in 2018. RIP All our best wishes to the founding couple of this brand that we loved very much, for its clothes and its generous designers.
Marchand Drapier is a brand with a very assertive and original style, created by Toulouse-based Benoit Carpentier and his wife Émilie Carpentier. The brand was mixed in its beginnings, but gradually refocused on increasingly affordable men's fashion collections.
In their collections we find formal inspirations (suit style, noble materials, Riviera from the 1930s) mixed with a relaxed style and always very original ideas (numerous prints, edging, mercerized effects on materials, Persian inspirations or linked to Orient Express travel).
Benoît Carpentier, eternal bon vivant, immediately won us over, giving rise to several collaborations between Marchand Drapier and BonneGueule, but also articles on how to do business in a flea market.
