Belstaff

Our opinion

Belstaff positions itself in a high-end segment with products between €500 and €2000 . Resolutely Vintage and Anglo-Saxon, their wardrobe is intended for lovers of unique pieces designed to last for many years under demanding conditions of use.

If the brand's legendary piece remains the waxed jacket, it also offers other clothing such as denim or sweatshirts, but their quality/price ratio is not as interesting . We suggest you give it a miss.

Belstaff is therefore an option to consider if you are looking for a high-end product steeped in history, but the high price and the existence of less expensive competition (notably Barbour, or niche brands for motorcycle) must necessarily lead to real reflection before purchase.

The history of the brand Belstaff

The Belstaff brand was founded in 1924 in the United Kingdom and initially focused on the production of biker clothing.

Innovative in terms of fabrics and cuts, Belstaff has found great success in the sporting world, but also alongside explorers and stars: Laurence of Arabia, Che Guevara... Or more recently Harrison Ford and David Beckham.

The brand changed its positioning in the 2000s to focus on the luxury sector . The brand is now Italian.

Renowned for the high quality of its Vintage pieces and more particularly its leather jackets, Belstaff sometimes collaborates with Hollywood to create exceptional costumes.
