Domodossola, the Italian company from which we sourced this smooth leather, belongs to the latter category. Originally founded in 1913, its core business was primarily the production of ropes for ships. In the 1980s, Domodossola developed the first mechanically produced woven belts.
Now over a century old, the company has remained family-owned, with the fourth generation currently in charge.
