Erquy vareuse
A new piece this season, the Erquy pays tribute to the traditional Britanny "vareuse" (smock). We reinterpret it in a striking Japanese cotton–linen denim with a unique texture. Its understated indigo denim is enhanced by irregular white neps and a slightly fuzzy surface that truly sets it apart in your outfits.
We have also reworked the lines of this historic garment to give it a more modern style: the collar is defined with a notch, and an asymmetrical topstitch suggests a flap over its two large patch pockets on the front.
A characterful piece halfway between an overshirt and a jacket, it can be worn both by the seaside and for all your urban adventures, from spring through autumn.
• Japanese fabric, 87% cotton and 13% linen, with a rare texture
• Reinterpreted "vareuse" shape for added character
• Comfortable and contemporary straight fit
• Hidden button under the collar to fasten it and side slits for comfort
