French Texture
Because optic white trousers can sometimes appear too bright, we made these ones in an undyed ecru cotton. Its soft, natural tone features a double texture to add character to your outfits.
First, you’ll notice its subtle herringbone pattern. Created through a weave with diagonal lines that alternate the direction of the threads, it’s recognizable by its wavy, "zigzag" appearance.
Then, you’ll also spot slight irregularities in the fabric. These “neps” are actually natural cotton impurities which, instead of being removed, have been preserved and appear sporadically throughout the weave.
It’s in Alsace, at the French weaver Telatex—founded in 1990 but carrying the legacy of the Kohler family and their 150 years of fabric-making expertise—that we sourced this distinctive material.
