As you can see, the blazer is in the spotlight in this latest Parlons Vêtement.
We will first agree on the definition of the blazer, which continues to be debated among enthusiasts.
Basically, a blazer refers to a blue double-breasted jacket with metal buttons. At BonneGueule, we consider that a blazer is a jacket (basically like a suit jacket) but without the pants that go with it in the same fabric.
In English, it's sometimes called "sport jacket" but I couldn't see myself talking about "sports jacket" throughout the episode, and the meaning seemed difficult to understand for people not initiated into the sartorial world.
In short, the blazer is an absolutely essential piece of clothing when you want to dress elegantly. But between the very strong colored blazers that we see at Pitti, and the boring blazers of certain brands, there is a happy medium to be found, just like the types of materials that I recommend.
Personally, even if my wardrobe has become more relaxed in recent years, it is still a piece that I continue to wear with great pleasure.
And besides, I would increasingly like to let myself be tempted by more colorful pieces from certain Italian brands that I mention in this episode.
In the comments, I'd be delighted if you told me about your favorite blazer!
