I have been going to the gym very regularly for two years now, several times a week and I have had the opportunity to test a lot of things: cotton, technical fabrics, different types of shoes, etc.
At first, I wondered why some indoor athletes were so demanding about their clothing, while I thought that simple shorts and a cotton t-shirt would be enough.
But after seeing my phone slip out of the pocket of my shorts, after being drenched in sweat during an entire session if the gym is not well air-conditioned in summer, I understood that well-crafted sportswear and well designed provides great comfort during your session.
Having sports clothing in which you enjoy moving removes (literally) friction from your sporting activities.
And less friction = more motivation = more sport = better health.
It's that simple, and well-chosen sportswear goes a long way in this equation.
But be careful, sports clothing is historically renowned for its poor manufacturing conditions.
On top of that, a new environmental scourge is starting to grow: pollution from plastic nanoparticles... and silver, used for anti-odor treatments.
I am therefore going to recommend brands that combine a low price, an interest in environmental issues, and a beautiful design in this episode.
I recommend Michel's article on t-shirt odors, which can be very useful to you in the gym.
