The shearling jacket is back at Bonnegueule, in a new and even more refined version.

This jacket makes a statement with its pronounced-grain shearling, tanned in France by Rial. Warm, comfortable, and breathable, it protects you unfailingly throughout the cold season.

Its luxurious double zipper from Italian maker Raccagni ensures flawless glide and exceptional durability, while the internal zipped pocket keeps your personal belongings safe.

The cut of this jacket is slightly fitted. If you’re in between sizes, opt for the larger one. If needed, please refer to our size guide.

A flattering fit

To move away from the traditional shearling jackets with a very wide fit, we offer this one with a subtly tailored cut that highlights your silhouette while leaving enough ease to slip a knit underneath. The two-way zipper also frees your hips, allowing you to sit comfortably or move through your busiest days.

How to wear a shearling

This jacket has a strong identity. Yet it is easy to wear thanks to its clean shape and brown color.

Simply pair it with jeans, your favorite sweater (or a sweatshirt for a sportier touch), and leather shoes.

To go further, think of winter fabrics and textures: flannel or tweed trousers, a tartan-patterned shirt, and boots are a perfect match for this shearling.

A French shearling, a unique know-how

You can’t fake the quality of leather.

The outer surface of this piece reveals a fine, even grain, free from imperfections. The leather is supple and glides delicately beneath your fingers.

The inner surface is made up of a thick layer of soft wool (over 1 cm) that wraps you in comforting warmth. The natural ecru color of the fleece creates a harmonious contrast with the brown leather.

We are proud to offer this truly high-end shearling, made from 100% French sheepskin—from sheep raised in France and tanned by Rial in the Tarn region. Founded in 1957, Rial is the only French tannery to master all the complex operations involved in processing shearling hides.

It was important to our co-founder Benoît to equip this special jacket with a special zipper.

For the first time, we are working with Raccagni, the Italian maker of some of the most luxurious zippers in the world, used by many leading fashion houses.

A family business founded in 1983 and based in Lombardy, Raccagni has made it its mission to produce zippers of the highest possible quality. Founder Italo Raccagni says: "Our philosophy is simple yet unflinching. If we make a perfect product today, tomorrow we’re going to improve it.”

The result: a two-way zipper with a reassuring heft and a brushed finish for a slightly vintage look, set with individually polished teeth of immaculate consistency—for perfect glide and absolute reliability.
