An extra-soft Italian wool

A good scarf keeps you warm and doesn’t itch. That’s why the Sashiko is woven from an ultra-fine, plush feeling wool which softness is close to cashmere (yes, really!).

A good scarf is also enveloping: while most scarves are around 150x30 cm, the Cabourg has a generous size of 200x50 cm.

We found this fabric at Tessilechiti, an Italian family-run weaver, specializing in wool and cashmere, with over 50 years of experience.

An exclusive sashiko pattern

With this scarf, we wanted to pay tribute to sashiko, a traditional Japanese craft that we admire. Originally used to reinforce the workwear garments of manual laborers, sashiko is now appreciated for its minimalist geometric aesthetic.

We asked our Italian weaver to develop this unique pattern for us, featuring a multitude of interwoven shields, symbols of strength and resilience in the face of challenges. Subtle from a distance, its intricate details reveal themselves upon closer look.

One scarf and two ways to wear It

Knitted with a double-faced construction, this scarf features two different sides with inverted colors: one side is dark with a light pattern, while the other is light with a dark pattern. A perfect way to switch up your style depending on your outfit—or your mood of the day.
