George H. Bass is the inventor of the modern moccasin that we so often saw on the feet of American Ivy League students. The “Weejun” as it is called is therefore in our favor because, for the brand, it is a true icon.
We particularly like the way in which the brand constantly reinterprets its favorite pair: two-tone or even three-color moccasins, with a horsebit, a commando sole or even white Vibram.
The outdoor models are also worth a look, except that you have to be careful about the style you are looking for: some models, in fact, are a little austere all the same.
We advise you to buy on sale because the quality has declined over time. The leathers are rarely full grain and the assembly is not the strongest, but with GH Bass you buy a little piece of history.
